As of December 2024, the life insurance industry recorded a YTD accumulated premiums of IDR188.15 trillion, while general and reinsurance premiums reached IDR148.50 trillion. These figures reflect positive growth in the insurance sector, supported by solid capital adequacy. The Risk-Based Capital (RBC) ratio for life insurance stood at 420.67%, while general and reinsurance posted an RBC ratio of 325.93%, both significantly above the required threshold of 120%.
The pension fund sector saw assets grew by 7.31% (yoy), reaching IDR1,508.21 trillion in December 2024. This reflects continued strength in pension fund management, supporting long-term financial stability.
Guarantee institutions’ assets decreased slightly by 0.05% (yoy) totaling IDR46.39 trillion. This emphasizes the expanding role of guarantees in enhancing financial security across various sectors.
