In December 2024, the number of capital market investors reached 14.87 million, indicating investors’ confidence and strong public interest.

This optimism fueled solid capital fundraising, reaching IDR259.24 trillion with 42 new equity issuers. The composite stock index (IDX) and the composite bond index (ICBI) marked YTD growth of -2.65% and 4.82%, respectively. Non-residents posted an inflow in both equity and government bonds market of IDR16.53 trillion and IDR34.39 trillion (YTD). 

Further, the Net Asset Value of mutual funds moderated slightly, decreasing by 0.92% YTD to IDR496.84 trillion.
