This OJK Regulation (POJK) was issued pursuant to Articles 269 and 270(3) of Law No. 4 of 2023 on Financial Sector Development and Strengthening, which mandate the issuance of regulations on governance and risk management for Financial Sector Technology Innovation (ITSK) providers. The regulation aims to promote sound governance practices to strengthen trust and competitiveness within the ITSK ecosystem, while ensuring that ITSK activities are supported by adequate, effective, and measurable risk management. It sets out requirements for the implementation of governance and risk management by ITSK providers and replaces certain governance, self-assessment, and risk management provisions previously stipulated under POJK No. 29 of 2024, POJK No. 4 of 2025, and POJK No. 3 of 2024. The Regulation was issued on 2 December 2025 and will take effect on 1 July 2026.
