This regulation is issued to enhance the capacity of the guarantee sector in supporting MSMEs and cooperatives and to establish a sound and sustainable guarantee industry, in line with the 2024–2028 Roadmap for the Development and Strengthening of the Indonesian Guarantee Industry. It replaces the previous provisions under POJK Number 2/POJK.05/2017 as amended by POJK Number 30/POJK.05/2018, which are no longer aligned with current developments.
