Financial Literacy, Consumer Protection Activities Update September 2025

As of September 2025, OJK has carried out 4,736 financial literacy activities, reaching 7,094,592 participants across Indonesia. These initiatives aim to enhance the financial knowledge of the public through various educational programs. In addition, Sikapi Uangmu, OJK’s digital financial education platform, has published 252 financial education content, which 2,071,316 viewers accessed in 2025

On the consumer protection front, OJK continues its efforts to combat illegal financial activities with Satgas PASTI. By September 2025, OJK had shut down a total of 1,840 illegal financial entities consisting of 1,556 illegal online lending platforms and 284 illegal investment entities. the Indonesia Anti-Scam Centre (IASC) also has blocked 87,819 accounts and secured IDR374.2 billion in victims’ funds, and it will continue to scale up capacity to accelerate case handling and recovery efforts in the financial sector.
