As of August 2025, the life insurance industry recorded a YTD accumulated premiums of IDR117.51 trillion, while general and reinsurance premiums reached IDR102.01 trillion. These figures indicate a relatively stable performance in the insurance sector, supported by solid capital adequacy. The Risk-Based Capital (RBC) ratio for life insurance stood at 472.58%, while general and reinsurance posted an RBC ratio of 323.36%, both significantly above the required threshold of 120%.
The pension fund sector saw assets grow by 8.48% (yoy), reaching IDR1,611,45 trillion in August 2025. This reflects continued strength in pension fund management, supporting long-term financial stability.
Guarantee institutions’ assets increased slightly by 1.94% (yoy) totaling IDR48.83 trillion. This emphasizes the expanding role of guarantees in enhancing financial security across various sectors.
