Financial Literacy, Consumer Protection Activities Update January 2026

As of January 2026, OJK has carried out 7,130 financial literacy activities, reaching 10,093,603 participants across Indonesia. These initiatives aim to enhance the financial knowledge of the public through various educational programs. In addition, Sikapi Uangmu, OJK’s digital financial education platform, has published 373 financial education content, which 3,782,998 viewers accessed as of 31 January 2026.

On the consumer protection front, OJK continues its efforts to combat illegal financial activities with Satgas PASTI. By January 2026, OJK had shut down a total of 2,617 illegal financial entities consisting of 2,263 illegal online lending platforms and 354 illegal investment entities. The Indonesia Anti-Scam Centre (IASC) also has blocked 415,385 accounts and secured IDR511.08 billion in victims’ funds, and it will continue to scale up capacity to accelerate case handling and recovery efforts in the financial sector.
