In August 2024, the number of capital market investors reached 13.35 million (17.95% yoy), indicating investors’ confidence and strong public interest.

This optimism fueled solid capital raising, reaching IDR135.25 trillion with 28 new equity issuers. The composite stock index (IDX) and the composite bond index (ICBI) marked YTD growth of 5.47% and 4.41%, respectively. Non-residents posted an inflow in both Equity and Government Bond of IDR27.73 trillion and IDR10.25 trillion (YTD), respectively. 

Further, the Net Asset Value of mutual funds dipped slightly by -0.61% YTD to IDR498.40 trillion.
