As of June 2024, the life insurance industry recorded accumulated premiums of IDR87.99 trillion, while general and reinsurance premiums reached IDR77.0 trillion. These figures reflect positive growth in the insurance sector, supported by solid capital adequacy. The Risk-Based Capital (RBC) ratio for life insurance stood at 431.43%, while general and reinsurance posted an RBC ratio of 320.70%, both significantly above the required threshold of 120%.
The pension fund sector saw assets grow by 7.58% year-on-year, reaching IDR1,448.28 trillion in June 2024. This reflects continued strength in pension fund management, supporting long-term financial stability.
Guarantee sector assets increased by 8.01% year-on-year, totaling IDR47.29 trillion. This growth emphasizes the expanding role of guarantees in enhancing financial security across various sectors.
