As of October 2024, OJK has carried out 4,393 financial literacy activities, reaching 5,795,083 participants across Indonesia. These initiatives aim to enhance the financial knowledge of the public through various educational programs. In addition, Sikapi Uangmu, OJK’s digital financial education platform, has published 345 financial education contents, attracting 1,388,565 viewers during this period.

On the consumer protection front, OJK continues its efforts to combat illegal financial activities. By October 2024, OJK had shut down a total of 2,742 illegal financial entities consists of 2,500 illegal online lending platforms and 242 illegal investment entities.
