As of April 2025, the Indonesian Sharia financial services sector continued to develop across all major segments. The Indonesia Sharia Stock Index stood at 215.04 points, with a year‑to‑date performance of –0.28% and a market capitalization of IDR 6,863.05 trillion.
In the Sharia securities crowdfunding segment, total fundraising reached IDR841.32 billion, capturing a 55.04% market share
Sharia banking assets reached IDR 954.51 trillion, representing 7.44% of the total banking market, while outstanding financing amounted to IDR 653.44 trillion and grew by 8.87% yoy. Deposits in the Sharia banking sector expanded by 7.08% yoy, and the gross non‑performing financing ratio stood at 2.25%.
Assets under Sharia financing institutions, including venture capital and microfinance, totaled IDR 36.29 trillion for financing institutions, IDR 3.94 trillion for venture capital and IDR 0.64 trillion for microfinance.
The Sharia insurance, guarantee and pension fund sector also showed steady performance, with life insurance assets at IDR 43.52 trillion, general insurance 9.64 trillion, voluntary pension funds 4.65 trillion and guarantee institutions 6.54 trillion.
